How to read a Bitcoin chart
A chart is easier to read when you work from broad context to the current candle instead of starting with the newest arrow or oscillator.
Read from left to right
- 1State the timeframe and whether recent swings form a trend or range.
- 2Mark the nearest zones and note whether price is approaching, rejecting or accepting them.
- 3Use closed-candle behavior and volume to describe what changed; choose a paper decision or no trade.
Keep the result in perspective
One screen of candles may hide important higher-timeframe context.
